Lot 1 Meadows-Charleston Storm Drain Lot 2 Sewer Rehabilitation Group K Question Cuttoff Date & Time 7/25/2024 05 :00 PM (PT) The City of Las Vegas (Owner) hereby invites qualified firms or individuals (Bidders) to submit Bids for Storm Drain Improvements, work consists of constructing Clark County Regional Flood Control District (CCRFCD) facilities and Lot 2 Sewer Rehabilitation, work consists of rehabilitation of sanitary sewer, both Lots are described with more detail in Special Provisions. Estimate: $24,500,000 to $30,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. To insure the City is able to meet your needs, please submit requests at least 2 business days in advance. Bidders are solely responsible for the timely submittal of Bids. Bidders shall submit the Bid Security with the Bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid pledging that the Bidder will within three (3) business days after issuance of a Notice of Award execute the Owner-Contractor Agreement as required by ITB 9.1 and furnish the required bonds and insurance required by ITB 9.2. The Bid Security shall be in the form of Response Attachment 1.2 - Bid Bond or, at the option of the Bidder, may be in the form of a cashier's check, certified check or money order provided the instrument is issued in the name of the City of Las Vegas as the payee. The check and money order must reflect the bid number of the Project. A Bid Bond issued by an individual as the surety is not acceptable to the Owner. Within three (3) business days after issuance of the Notice of Award, the Bidder who has been awarded the Contract shall furnish to the Owner (i) the Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond and the Guaranty Bond, attached, required under Section 7.01 of the General Conditions to the Owner-Contractor Agreement, (ii) a completed certificate of insurance evidencing the procurement of the insurance coverages required under Section 8 of the General Conditions to the Owner-Contractor Agreement and (iii) an endorsement naming the Owner as an additional insured party as required under Section 8.02 of the General Conditions to the Owner-Contractor Agreement. The bonds shall be submitted on the aforementioned forms provided by the Owner. In preparing the required insurance documentation, Bidders shall refer to the Sample Certificates of Insurance & Endorsements, attached.
