Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Stockton, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Provide professional engineering services to prepare the plans, specifications and estimate for this project. This includes systemic roadway safety enhancements for all users at the intersections of Lorraine Avenue and Hammer Lane, Wilson Way and Park Street, and Wilson Way and Waterloo Road. The project will install a leading pedestrian interval, high visibility crosswalks, left-turn phasing, curb extensions, raised medians, curb ramps, left turn lanes, and establish no parking zones. The City of Stockton, California, will receive sealed proposals for the Systemic Pedestrian Safety Enhancements in accordance with the request for proposal for Project No. WT23041 / Federal Project No. HSIPL-5008(209). Each proposal shall be submitted as one packet and shall be accompanied by the Non-Collusion Declaration, Title VI and Department of Industrial Relations self-certifications, and all of the required documents and information. The pricing shall be submitted under separate, sealed envelope. Each proposer shall be licensed in accordance with applicable State laws. The City of Stockton encourages the use of certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms to propose on this project, and the City encourages proposers to employ certified DBE firms as subconsultants. The City has established a project-specific DBE Goal of 14%. As a condition of award, proposers must either A) meet the project-specific DBE goal, or B) demonstrate Good Faith Efforts as required in the Instructions to Proposers. Failure to Meet Either a) or B) Requirements Will Render the Proposal as Non-responsive. Refer to the Instructions to Proposers document for additional information regarding these and other DBE requirements Proposers are hereby notified that the successful proposer and any subconsultant under them shall pay prevailing wage rates in performing the contract as required. A contract will be awarded to the proposer who best meets the needs of the City; provided, however, that the City Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to re-advertise for proposals or to provide for the work to be done by the City of Stockton.
