The Work is comprised of one (1) Contracts: Contract No. 1 - General Construction. Work generally consists of removing of existing Remote Telementry Unit (RTU) from water and wastewater facilities and re-purposing or replacing existing PLC's to provide control and remote monitoring of facilities. The existing telemetry system will be decommissioned and replaced with cellular modems to provide new telemetry for remote facilities. Project also includes communication upgrades within the Water Treatment Facility. Shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid, executed by the bidder as principal, and by a surety company authorized to do business in North Dakota, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract for performance of such work if the contract is awarded to him. Bid bonds must be executed by a principal. Signatures by other than a president, vice president, or CEO, must be accompanied by sufficient evidence (duly executed meeting minutes, resolution, power of attorney, etc.) to indicate that the signatory has the authority to bind the company or organization. The City Council of the City of Jamestown, North Dakota, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, and to hold bids until the next regularly scheduled City Council meeting. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
