Soda Ash All factors including but not limited to the above will be taken into consideration when determining the lowest and best bid. It is the District's intent to award the bid on the overall total bid. We reserve the right to reject or accept any or all items and/or any or all bids. The Metropolitan Utilities District is a political subdivision of the State of Nebraska and qualifies for any governmental or state agency discounts. The state of Nebraska has a reciprocal preference law, which states in part, that where bids are of equal price and quality, the contract or sale must go to the resident bidder. The Pricing Information must be completed by indicating the price per unit or line item. The Lead Time must be noted in the comments section, stated in the number of days. Bidders shall be responsible to inform themselves in preparing their bid. Bidder is responsible to review the Bid Invitation Letter, Returnable Bid Form, Specifications, Submitted Pricing, and Standard Terms and Conditions. Bidders shall ensure that they fully inform and satisfy themselves as to requirements of any relevant authorities and laws that apply, or may in the future apply, to the bid and performance of the Agreement; and shall form their own assessment of the nature and extent of work required to perform the Agreement properly account for all work and/or costs in their bid. Bidders shall not be entitled to any remuneration or compensation for the preparation or submission of their bid. Bids shall remain valid for acceptance by the District for sixty (60) days from the bid opening date specified in paragraph 2 above.
