Project Address: 1835 Burchinal Rd Salina, KS 67401 In case of conflicts between the State of Kansas information (Document A through Document I and Section 01 0000) and the technical specifications provided by the design team, the State of Kansas information prevails. Owner-Initiated Proposal Requests: Architect or Owner's Representative will issue a detailed description of proposed changes in the Work that may require adjustment to the Contract Sum or the Contract Time. If necessary, the description will include supplemental or revised Drawings and Specifications. 1. Work Change Proposal Requests issued are not instructions either to stop work in progress or to execute the proposed change. 2. Within time specified in Proposal Request or 21 days, when not otherwise specified, after receipt of Proposal Request, submit a quotation estimating cost adjustments to the Contract Sum and the Contract Time necessary to execute the change. a. Include a list of quantities of products required or eliminated and unit costs, with total amount of purchases and credits to be made. If requested, furnish survey data to substantiate quantities. b. Indicate applicable taxes, delivery charges, equipment rental, and amounts of trade discounts. c. Include costs of labor and supervision directly attributable to the change. d. Include an updated Contractor's construction schedule that indicates the effect of the change, including, but not limited to, changes in activity duration, start and finish times, and activity relationship. Use available total float before requesting an extension of the Contract Time. e. Quotation Form: Use forms acceptable to Architect and Owner's Representative The successful Bidder shall agree to attend a pre-construction conference along with persons responsible for the various operations involved with the Project. All contractors bidding as the prime bidder on this project must be pre-qualified with Office of Facilities and Property Management to bid this project. Value: $1,000,000 to $3,000,000 Budget: $1,500,000 Requests for clarifications and interpretations of the Construction Contract Documents (Technical Specifications and Drawings) shall be presented to the Project Architect/Engineer in writing at least ten (10) days prior to the date on which bids are to be opened. Question Deadline 07/15/2024 Completion- August 1, 2025. A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Remove existing restroom, closet and misc items as indicated on drawings. Provide new toilet fixtures, toilet accessories and finishes as indicated on drawings. Relocate existing entry door. Alternate #1-Remove existing flooring and replace with new per finish schedule. 2. Provide alternates as indicated if accepted.
