Renovation of an educational facility in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,250-square-foot educational facility.

Bids shall be accompanied by bid security in the amount of ten percent(10%) of the total bid, if the bid is over $7,499.00. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish to Sweetwater School District No. 1, withinten (10) days of the bid's acceptance, Performance, Labor and Material Bonds, each in an amount not less than 100% of the contract sum, if the total bid price is over $150,000. Contractors shall comply with all fair labor practices and must meet therequirements of the Wyoming State Statutes. Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, equipment, and machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied or grown inWyoming, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the State, all as more fully outlined in W.S. SS16-6-106 and 107. The removal and replacement of an existing poured-in-place rubber flooring. Area of work impacted is approximately 4,250SF. Work includes necessary removal, preparation, and installation of a new indoor resilient athletic surfacing. New flooring to be striped as required by Owner, including but not limited, basketball and volleyball, with full and half court striping A five percent (5%) preference will be given to resident Wyoming Contractors in accordance with the applicable State Statutes. Resident contractors shall be certified as such by the Wyoming Department of Employment at the time of the bid opening. No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least thirty (30) days after thescheduled time for receipt of bids, except as noted in the Instructions toBidders. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waiveirregularities, to evaluate the bids submitted and to accept the proposalwhich best serves the interest of the Owner.
