The scope of work includes replacing existing water lines in the City of Verona. Estimated quantities of pipe are as follows: 1832 LF of 6" PVC, 1495 LF of 4" PVC, & 20 LF of 2" PVC. Other items of work include the usual appurtenances for borings, taps, meter reconnections, fire hydrants, valves, fittings and surface reconstruction. The scope of work includes replacing existing sewer lines in the City of Verona. Estimated quantities of pipe are as follows: 3770 LF of 8" PVC, 821 LF of 8" DIP, 2555 LF of 10" PVC, 616 LF of 10" DIP and 431 LF of 12" DIP. Other items of work include the usual appurtenances for manhole replacement, sewer line abandonment, service reconnections, bores, bypass pumping and surface reconstruction. The scope of work includes replacing an existing pump station in the City of Verona. Items of work include the usual appurtenances for a pump station replacement, electrical work, control panel replacement and other related construction activities. Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs. This project is being supported in whole or in part by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), federal award number 452-2-DW-5.15 awarded to The City of Verona by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Each bidder must deposit with this bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. All applicable laws, ordinances and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the contract throughout. Each Bidder is responsible for inspecting the site and for reading and being thoroughly familiar with the Contract Documents. The failure or omission of any Bidder to do any of the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation in respect to this Bid. A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted. Award will be made to the lowest or best responsible, responsive Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids.
