Gym Floor Services Columbia Campus- The Maryland School for the Deaf is soliciting a vendor to provide Floor Services on the Columbia campus gymnasium. The Maryland School for the Deaf is soliciting to a vendor to resurface gym floor in the Denton Building of the Columbia Campus: MSD SPCC 560001. All quotations must be based on the following set of specifications. The Maryland School for the Deaf reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Award will be made to the responsible and responsive bidder based on lowest total cost. The contractor's start date will be mutually agreed upon by the Maryland School for the Deaf and the winning company. The project must be completed by August 31st 2024. 1. The contractor will supply all labor, supplies, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to complete the Floor Services Contract. 2. This contract will cover the Columbia campus gymnasium approximately 7,700 Sq. ft.. 3. The measurements indicated in this bid and stated in this contract are approximates and it is the responsibility of the contractor to take their own measurements. 4. Contractor will use a Buffer Pad, 3M , Scotch-Brite, 16", Surface Prep Pad, Maroon or equivalent. MSD prefers to use 3M brand Buffer Pads, but not required. 5. Contractor will remove scuffing and dirt from the surface. 6. The surface will be vacuumed and/or tacked free of dust. 7. Two coats of Bona Super Sport Water based finish or equivalent will be applied to the gymnasium floor. 8. The contractor will notify Maryland School for the Deaf Maintenance Supervisor of any blemishes to the gym floor that could potentially be an expense to the Maryland School for the Deaf in the future. 9. Upon completing the project, there will be a final walk through with the MSD Maintenance Staff etc. prior to completing the project and invoicing.
