As of August 13, 2024 bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. No definite date for rebid. Ada County is accepting quotes for scrubber tank media removal (Services), located at the Ada County Landfill. Questions regarding this quote solicitation shall be submitted in writing no later than 4:00 p.m. local time, July 11, 2024, in the Vendor Discussions section of the Bonfire project listing. All questions will be answered in writing in the form of an addendum. Contractor must provide Services to three (3) hydrogen sulfide scrubber tanks ("Tank") that were installed in 2014. The Services will include Tank numbers TK-612, TK-614, and TK-616. Each Tank contains an iron sponge (woodchips infused with iron) that must be removed, disposed of, and replaced. Each Tank consists of the following: Total size of tank is approx. 1,385 cu. ft. Tank contains approx. two hundred and thirty (230) cu. ft. of drain rock at the bottom that must be removed. Landfill staff will replace the drain rock at a later date. Tank contains PVC pipe under the drain rock, consisting of a ten (10) in. gas extraction line. Care must be taken with removing the rock in order not to damage the pipe. Temperature gauge can be removed once the media is no longer holding it in place
