The Apparent low bidder for the project is W & W Fencing with bid amount of $27,00 per feet The purpose and intent of the resulting contractual agreement is for the successful bidder to Provide 6 foot tall black fencing and appropriate gates for various Smyth County Schools. Smyth County School Board is accepting bids for approximately 4,000 linear feet of 6 foot tall black fencing throughout the division. Specific needs are: Marion Middle School - approximately 555' of fencing, 1- 4' gate and 1-12' gate Atkins Elementary School - approximately 358' of fencing Rich Valley Elementary School - approximately 60' of fencing, and 2 30' gates Saltville Elementary School - approximately 561' of fencing Sugar Grove Elementary School - approximately 1219' of fencing, 1-4' gate, 1-6' gate, 1-12' gate, gated area covering 22', and gated area covering 24' Chilhowie Elementary School - approximately 1,700 feet of fencing, 8-5'gates, 1-17' electronic gate Smyth Career and Technology Center - Electronic Gate at the rear of the building For additional information contact Dr. Dennis Carter, Division Superintendent, 276-783- 8865, ext.2229.
