Public notice is hereby given that the City of Kirkland has issued the above-mentioned Invitation for Bids (IFB). This work to be performed under these specifications consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of the Lake Washington High School Pedestrian/Bicycle Improvements project. The City of Kirkland, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit qualifications in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Questions regarding this project shall be submitted in writing to Tiffany Tillison via email at ttillison@kirklandwa.gov. Questions via phone will not be accepted. Bidders shall submit questions no later than 5pm. on July 11 th, 2024.
