The City of Pacific Grove invites sealed bids for a street rehabilitation project including storm drainage and sanitary sewer system improvements. The work consists of roadway excavation, pavement grinding, grading, preparing sub-grade, placing salvaged asphaltic grindings for re-use as base material, placing Class 2 aggregate base and asphalt concrete paving for street reconstruction and overlay; construction and/or reconstruction of curb and gutter, cross gutter, sidewalk, driveway approaches and curb ramps; storm drain improvements; sanitary sewer improvements; raising/adjusting manholes, valve boxes, and utility boxes to new finished grade; traffic striping and markings and all other work shown on the plans for the segments of 19th Street, Alder Street, and Alley between 2nd St. & 4th St. All bids submitted shall include a completed "Proposal", which is included in the Bidder Package. Each bid must be accompanied by Cash, Cashiers' Check, Certified Check or Bidder's Bond in an amount equal to not less than 10% (ten percent) of the total amount of the bid price. The work performed under this contract must conform to requirements of the project Technical Specifications and Special Provisions, which are described in the Bidder Package.
