These include providing an additional southbound left turn lane on SR 83 (US 331) and a receiving eastbound merge lane on SR 30 (US 98) for the added southbound left turn lane. Existing northbound and southbound turn lanes and travel lanes on SR 83 (US 331) will be resurfaced. The resurfacing will begin at the intersection of SR 30 (US 98) and SR 83 (US 331) and continue north to the beginning of the taper for the southbound left turn lanes. Additionally, existing eastbound travel lanes on SR 30 (US 98) will be resurfaced beginning at the intersection and continuing to the end of the merge lane taper. The U-turn on SR 30 (US 98) approximately mile east of the intersection will be removed. The existing SR 30 (US 98) westbound right turn lane onto SR 83 (US 331) will be extended back approximately mile and the adjacent travel lanes will be resurfaced. All traffic detector loops impacted by the added turn lane will be replaced. This project is located in Walton County.
