In general, the project consists of Closed Circuit Television Inspection (CCTV), cleaning, and rehabilitation of the existing gravity sewer system from 6"-12" diameter and 98 manholes. Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, a Bid Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of his Bid, payable to City of Hernando as bid security. Bidders shall also submit a current financial statement if requested by the City. The successful Bidder must provide both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond (each in the amount of one hundred percent [100%] of the Contract) upon execution of the Contract. The Contract Time is 540 calendar days with a liquidated damages provision of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars and 00/100 Dollars ($750.00) per calendar day thereafter. The City of Hernando reserves the right to reject any and or all bids, waive technicalities, informalities, or irregularities in the bids received, solicit new bids, or to choose that bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Hernando.
