Site work for a water / sewer project in Bend, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project will evaluate, design, and construct safety improvements on U.S. 97 through Terrebone. The current design includes an interchange at U.S. 97 and Lower Bridge Way, speed lowering interventions, and pedestrian safety improvements to reduce crashes and increase driver awareness. The project is included in the county 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of September 10, 2024, per owner, this project was a planning effort led by their department to establish a sanitary sewer district in the unincorporated community of Terrebonne. Construction of the sewer improvements is being delivered by ODOT as part of the U.S. 97: Lower Bridge Way - NW 10th Street project. Construction started July 2024 and will continue until May 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
