Request for BIDS Cumberland County Courthouse Air Handler #1 Cumberland County Government is seeking qualified bidders for Replacement of current air handler serving the ground, first, second, & third floor areas, located in the ground floor mechanical room, with a new rooftop HVAC unit. Bidders must be licensed and be able to obtain insurance required for work. Bid security with each bid in the amount of 5% of the bid amount Anticipated Construction Schedule: a. Contract Award: August 22, 2024. b. Substantial Completion: August 15, 2025. c. Final Contractor Closeout: August 29, 2025 All questions regarding the BID scope and/or technical nature should be directed via e-mail to SMRT, the Project Architect, attention Emily Cooper - ecooper@smrtinc.com . Questions must be received no later than July 18, 2024 at 2pm. American Rescue Plan is funding this project. Federal Provisions apply to the project, please take notice to these provisions attached to the bid documents. Bids must include Signed Federal Provision forms. Cumberland County reserves the right to waive all informalities in BID, to accept any BID or any portion thereof, or to reject any or all bids, should it be deemed in its best interest to do so. Except as otherwise required by law or as specifically provided to the contrary herein, the award of this bid shall be governed by the County's purchasing ordinance.
