Site work for a water / sewer project in Dora, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work of labor for the Water Line Replacement Project Contract No. 4 - DWSRFPROJECT NO. FS010480- 02. The principal items of work are detailed herein below: 1. Install 11,650 LF 3" HDPE, IPS, SDR 11 Pipe 2. Connect to Existing water line at Station 0+00, Line #10 to 6" PVC 3. Connect to Existing water line at Station 27+08, Black Top Road to 2" PVC No refunds will be made except to Prime Contractor (that actually Bid on the Project) Bidders, which shall be refunded for one bid set. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond for one hundred (100%) of the bid amount and a Payment Bond for one hundred (100%) percent of the bid amount and must secure his bond from a bonding company's representative or agent in the State of Alabama. No bid maybe withdrawn after the time for opening bids has passed. The Owner reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of receiving Bids. 180 consecutive calendar days total and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. The Owner reservesthe right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept any bid considered advantageous to the Owner.
