As of July 30, 2025, this project has just entered the design phase. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. The Town of East Hartford seeks to enter into a contract with a professional consultant to provide architectural, engineering, and contract administration services for a new Fire Station to be constructed at 1718 Main Street, East Hartford. Firms must be skilled and experienced in working with municipalities in Connecticut and possess thorough knowledge of fire station design and construction. Firms will work with East Hartford Fire Department personnel to ensure that the facility meets department needs. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids when such action is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of East Hartford, Connecticut The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
