Site work for a mixed-use development in Richmond, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

WWTP and Collection System Upgrades. Description: Work on this contract consists of 4 spot replacement sections of 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer, raising of 8 sanitary sewer manholes, manholes, and asphalt pavement replacement including base course; driveway aprons (where applicable), and associated work. Additional work at the wastewater treatment plant includes the installation of a new flexible membrane liner in the stabilization pond and the installation of two new flume-based flow meters. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. Bidders Proof of Responsibility must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders will be required to provide performance and payment bonds of 100 percent of bid amount. This Contract is expected to be funded in part with funds provided by the Clean Water Fund Program (CWFP). Information on applicable federal requirements is contained in the Project Manual. Town of Richmond Sanitary District #1 reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three (3) lowest bidders for a period not to exceed 61 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 61 Days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. The Owner encourages DBEs, MBEs, WBEs, and SBRAs to submit Bid proposals. Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action requirements apply to this Project. The successful bidder will be required to conform to the wage requirements prescribed by the federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts which requires that all laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and sub -contractors performing on contracts funded in whole or in part with federal funds in excess of $2,000 pay their laborers and mechanics not less than the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits, as determined by the Secretary of Labor, for corresponding classes of laborers and mechanics employed on similar projects in the area. If the requirements of Davis Bacon, the State of Wisconsin, and the Contract requirements conflict with regard to wages, the highest of the three shall apply. The Town of Richmond Sanitary District #1 reserves the right to reject any and all bids, without cause, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interest of the Town of Richmond Sanitary District #1. The estimated construction cost is $620,000. Question deadline: 07/04/2024
