The Municipality of North Perth (Municipality) is soliciting proposals from qualified proponents (Contractor) for Paving services (asphalt and concrete) for parking lots at three (3) Municipal locations. Question Deadline: Fri Jul 26, 2024 2:00 PM (EDT) All enquiries regarding this RFT must be submitted by using the "submit a question" feature through the bidding system Contractors are required to furnish all labour, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, permits, services, and facilities required for the demolition and removal of existing concrete/asphalt and replace with new concrete/asphalt per Bid Documents and Scope of Work. The successful proponent shall be responsible for the following: 3.1 MONKTON FIRE TRAINING CENTRE Re-Pavinq of Existing Asphalt Parking Lot Remove and dispose of all old asphalt, approximately 3500 square feet Regrade and pack area to slope away from the building suggested 3 % grade, 1 % grade at person doors o Try to grade area to get rid of the big puddle - See NP-026-24 - Site Images. Place two lifts 1.5 inches of Asphalt. HL4 - 40 mm (1.5 ") HL8 - 40 mm (1.5") Asphalt will be finished to the same height of the threshold of the two person doors and the two roll up doors, sloping away from the building Approximately 65 ton of asphalt. 3.2 LISTOWEL FIRE STATION Paving of Existing Asphalt Parking Lot Grade and pack existing area to a minimum of a 3 % slope away from the building to the existing drains or grassed area Remove all topsoil and vegetation within proposed area and replace with granular 'B' subbase and granular 'A' base material and must be compacted to 100% SPMDD Supply and install one lift of asphalt HL4 - 60 mm (2.5") approximately 9,400 square feet 142 ton^ Supply and insl^jl 2- red plastic covered bollards (same style as existing bollards) in front of the oil/water separate^ Finish landscaping will be done by others 3.3 ATWOOD FIRE STATION > .... . ... ,, ,, o 1. .... b . . .. .. 3.3.1 Proiect # 1 - Re-Pavinq beside the Fire Station & Install Cement Landing Remove and dispose of existing cement pad around the existing oil/water separator approximately 445 square, feet-^, Grade existing parking area to flow away fre^the building, minimum 3% grade, flowing to the side and back of the lot. XV Install one lift of asphalt HL4 - 60 mm (2.5^ppt^imately 7000 square feet, 105 ton. Install a 5-foot X 5-foot cement landing at the side person door Cement landing will be same height as door threshold, sloping away from the door, minimum 1% grade Cement will be 5 inches thick with rebar and a broom finish Finish landscaping will be done by others. *PROVISIONAL 3.3.2 - Supply/lnstall Ice Melter system o Supply and Install ice melt system in the "new" Cement landing only. o See Appendix A for minimum standard specification "assumed" for Ice Melter system. (*For Information Purposes Only) *PROVISIONAL 3.3.3 - Project # 2 - Cement Driveway at front of the Fire Station. Remove and dispose existing pavement in front of garage bay and person doors at the front of the building, approximately 1500 square feet o Grade existing area to flow away from the building, minimum suggest 1 % grade o Cement pad to 5 inches thick with rebar and broom finish- approximately 1500 square feet o Install 3 - plastic covered red bollards, in front of the garage bay doors. Same style as pictured *PROVISIONAL 3.3.4 - Supply/lnstall Ice Melter system o Supply and Install ice melt system in the first 5 feet from the building, in front of both garage bay doors and person door. o See Appendix A for minimum standard specification "assumed" for Ice Melter system.
