As of August 28, 2024 thid project was cancelled, no definite date for the rebid Boiler Replacement - NEENAH DHS. If the Contractor receives this Request for Bids (RFB) from any source or entity other than the website, the Contractor is responsible for contacting the Winnebago County Purchasing Department and requesting the Contractor's name be placed on the County's formal list for the project. Failure of the Contractor to notify the Purchasing Department in no way obligates the County to deliver addendum or other information concerning the RFB to the Contractor. Scope of Work Winnebago County is requesting sealed bids to provide all labor, equipment and materials to replace the boiler system at the Winnebago County Department of Human Services, located at 211 N Commercial St Neenah WI 54956. A Contractor's Qualification Statement must be completed and submitted to the Winnebago County Purchasing Department, a minimum of 5 days before the bid opening date. Winnebago County reserves the right to reject any bidder who is determined to be unqualified. A certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to Winnebago County in an amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany the bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract within ten (10) days after award of the contract. A 5% retainer will be withheld from each partial payment up to 50% completion to provide recovery of liquidated damages or for work not performed. Release of retainer will take place upon completion and approval of punch list items.
