Kennedy M.S. Exhaust Fan Replacements Question Deadline 07/01/2024 at 12:00 PM CT Contact Information: Casey Ramas, ramasc@rps205.com Scope 1. Remove and replace all exhaust fans listed on the schedule and shown on the aerial view of the roof plan. The schedule information is preliminary. A specification has been provided for reference. Contractor shall include any site investigation to determine fan information and performance for the replacement of the existing fans if the fan does not have an existing nameplate. This includes, but is not limited to, determining CFM, static, etc., for selection of the fans and the fans match existing airflow, static, and horsepower when listed on nameplate. 2. Provide all new fans, dampers, controllers, and components for a complete and operational system. 3. Provide curb adapters, as required, to adapt to replacement fans. Coordinate and revise roof flashing as needed. 4. Provide physical labels and nameplates on fans. Verify and/or update labels within the control system. Coordinate naming conventions with Owner prior to installation. 5. Start-up of all fans and verification of operation including integration of controls. 6. Contractor shall schedule time with Owner representatives to demonstrate operation and maintenance of equipment prior to completion of construction. 7. Contractor shall test and balance fans. Contractor to determine means and method of balancing based on existing duct systems. 8. Integrate new fans with existing Distech Tridium Niagara system by Technical Solutions system including any programming required. An allowance for controls shall be carried for any fans that are not connected to the existing building automation system. Controls shall have enable/disable, scheduling, and fan status at a minimum. Contractor to coordinate scope with Technical Solutions and Owner.
