As of July 31, 2024, there were no bids received. The city of carnation is releasing a small works project. As a contractor on the MRSC small works roster under the asphalt pavement chip/crack repair category. This project includes construction of chip seal pavement preservation treatment on five road segments within the City of Carnation, for an approximate 0.8 miles of roadway. The five segments include: 1. West Bird Street (Stewart Street to Stephens Avenue); 2. Commercial Street (Stephens Avenue to Tolt Avenue); 3. Commercial Street (Tolt Avenue to Entwistle Street); 4. Stephens Avenue (Morrison Street to Entwistle Street); 5. Stewart Avenue (Commercial Street to Entwistle Street). The project includes sweeping, chip seal application, pavement markings and traffic control. The Contractor shall provide comprehensive preconstruction photographs of the entire Work site and adjoining properties. The photographs shall provide complete coverage of all features. Before construction starts, electronic files of all photos shall be delivered to the Contracting Agency. Photographs shall be taken in and along the project limits, prior to construction. Special attention shall be provided to depict existing conditions, edge of pavement, drainage facilities, private improvements, and utility markers. The photographs shall be provided with date the photos were taken, and arranged in a logical order.
