The purpose of the Edson Flood Study is to assess and identify open water flood hazards along Bench Creek, Wase Creek, and Poplar Creek through the Town of Edson and Yellowhead County. The study will be completed under the provincial FHIP, the goals of which include enhancement of public safety and reduction of future flood damages through the identification of flood hazards.
