Renovation of a multi-residential development in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Capital Fund Program TN40P04850123 The project generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following work: Bid Package 'A': Developments TN048-001, -002, -003AR, -003B and -005: Replace HVAC units in 3-, 4- and 5-Bedroom units as shown on the plans and specifications. Bid Package 'B': Development TN048-001: Remove existing shingles and all accessories down to the sheathing then install all new material as specified and replace shingles on storage buildings. Bid Package 'C': Development TN048-001: Replace existing wrought iron and pipe columns with new 8" square structural aluminum columns. Development TN048-008: Replace all existing storm doors with new security screen doors as scheduled; paint all entry doors and frames inside and out; replace existing weather stripping and door bottom sweep; and replace patio doors and hardware. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. All bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1994 (TCA Title 62, Chapter 6) of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee. For projects $25,000 and more, the law requires the Prime (general) contractor to list their contractor license information on the outside of the bid envelope with the Name as licensed, License Number, Expiration Date and the Classification applying to the bid. Each prime bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid. Bid Bonds and Performance and Payment Bonds must be secured by a guaranty, or a surety company listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570 and shall be within the maximum amount specified for such company in said Circular 570. The "Bid Bond" and the "Performance and Payment Bond" must be issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the state where the project is located and must be listed in U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570. ** Bidding documents may be obtained from Stephanie Coles, Cauthen & Associates, LLC, 2908 Elm Hill Pike, Nashville, TN 37214. A deposit of $200.00 is required from primebidders for one set of Bidding Documents. Prime bidders tendering a bonafide bid, except the successful Contractor, will be refunded their full deposit upon return of the bidding documents in good condition within 14 days after bid opening. Prime biddersnot tendering a bonafide bid will be refunded half of their bid deposit amount upon return of the bidding documents. No refunds will be issued forbidding documents received after the 14-day period. All bid deposit checks or drafts shall be made payable to Cauthen & Associates, LLC.
