Demolition, site work and addition to a conference / convention center in Dallas, Texas. Working plans call for the addition of a conference / convention center; for the demolition of a conference / convention center; and for site work for a conference / convention center.

As of July 2025, the city of Dallas has selected a Joint Venture Construction Management company. They will act as the Construction Manager at Risk. As of July 18, 2025, 4 GMP packages have been issued for bid, mostly consisting of concrete work. GMP package #5 will be issued for bid in September 2025. There will be 3 additional packages released, however a timeframe for their issuance has not been disclosed yet. Construction is expected to begin in late August 2025 at the earliest. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: KBHCCD Master Plan Component 1 Convention Center Expansion West of Lamar Provide Pre-Construction and Construction Services for the Project with a goal delivery date of March 31, 2029, with decommissioning, demolition, and site clearance of the Project by Q4 2030. 1.1 The Basic Services shall include project design review and evaluation, planning for construction mobilization and supervision, construction cost estimating and analysis, project scheduling, and cost-benefit analysis, including, but not limited to, the tasks identified below and Section III. 1.2 CMAR shall communicate and coordinate with the City, the Project Manager, and the City's design team (Design Team) to ascertain the requirements of the Project and shall arrive at a mutual understanding of such requirements with the City. 1.3 CMAR shall provide a preliminary evaluation of the City's schedule and Construction Budget, each in terms of the other. 1.4 CMAR shall coordinate with the Design Team as necessary to deliver the Services and support the schematic design, design development, construction documents, and development of estimated guaranteed maximum price (GMPs). 1.5 CMAR shall perform the Pre-Construction Services as defined in accordance with the applicable standard of care for a CMAR excluding only responsibility for the professional negligence of any licensed engineer or architect in the preparation of the Plans and Specifications (1) Perform an ongoing review of the Architect's programming plan including the size of space, proposed finishes, ceiling heights, building height, exterior finishes, circulation spaces, any necessary ancillary spaces, and any anticipated site work; (i) CMAR shall submit to the Program Manager, at each document review phase, an analysis of the Design Team's program in comparison to the City's approved specifications, including quantified cost and time impacts associated with each variance.
