Project Summary: Mobilize, adjust castings, replace curb ramps, mill, and place HMA Surface Mix on County Road 5 (Elkhart Road) and other various local streets in and near the Northwest Industrial Parks; on Middlebury Street and other various local streets in and near the East Industrial Parks; and on West Beardsley Avenue, from Nappanee Street to Main Street. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Indiana, payable without condition to the City of Elkhart, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by bidder and surety company in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. Any deviation from the bid documents must be explained by bidder. Bidders are requested to submit any pre-bid questions regarding the project plans or specifications in writing to the City of Elkhart on or before 4:00 PM Elkhart time on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
