This project includes demolition of existing damaged timber ADA dune walkovers and replacement with a newly designed timber ADA compliant beach access stairs and ramps per the attached technical specifications and construction plans. 1 - Mobilization and Demobilization 2 - Construction Survey and As-Built Survey 3 - Environmental Compliance 4 - Temporary Traffic Control 5 - Demolition, Hauling and Disposal 6 - Pedestrian Access Timber Structure with Aluminum Handrails This project will replace 3 Dune Walkover Structures damaged as part of Hurricane Nicole in Fall 2022. These walkovers are located in Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach along the coast of Volusia County. The ideal contractor would be able to mobilize and work multiple sites simultaneously. The start of this project will begin during Turtle Nesting Season and special conditions will be required for work on the beach during Turtle Nesting Season. The lowest responsive and responsible bidder shall be responsible for all applicable permitting, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary to complete all Work required by the specifications and as shown on the drawings.
