Drainage Improvements in the Timberlake Estates Subdivision for Harris County Precinct 3 - UPIN 19103MF17E01 Questions Due Date: Jul 12th 2024, 12:00 PM CDT Purpose and Scope of Services The primary purpose of this study was to provide geotechnical recommendations to assist R.G. Miller Engineers (R.G. Miller) in preparation of design drawings and construction specifications addressing Timberlake Estates drainage improvements. We accomplished this by: o Drilling and sampling 37 geotechnical borings to explore and characterize the subsurface conditions along the project alignment. Fifteen borings were drilled to depths of 10 feet each, 15 borings were drilled to depths of 15 feet each, and seven borings were drilled to depths of 20 feet each. o Performing field and laboratory tests on selected soil samples recovered during the drilling and sampling process to assess pertinent geotechnical engineering properties of the subgrade and subsurface soils. o Analyzing field and laboratory data to develop geotechnical engineering recommendations to guide in the design of the drainage improvements. o Preparing and submitting this geotechnical engineering report summarizing our findings and recommendations.
