Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Milan, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a medical facility; for the construction of a 65,000-square-foot, two-story above grade medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.

Sullivan County Memorial Hospital (SCMH) Board of Trustees of Milan, Missouri is soliciting proposals for Construction Manager as Constructor services for the construction of a new replacement hospital and clinic at a new site in the City of Milan, Missouri. The project consists of a new 60,000 to 65,000 gsf 2-story replacement hospital and clinic on a new 16ac - 20ac site with associated site development and utility work in the City of Milan, Missouri. The project includes a full replacement of the existing critical access hospital and rural health clinic and site development. Infrastructure additions/upgrades to the site are not anticipated to be part of this project’s scope. Interested applicants must have a minimum of 5 years experience in complex office, educational and / or wellness facility construction work which includes CM-as-Constructor (CM) type contracts and have the ability to bond up to 50 million dollars of construction. The project has an accelerated Pre-Construction services schedule, and the proposing firm will need to demonstrate successful previous experience in setting early and accurate Guaranteed Maximum Price Contracts to allow for this project to meet funding timeline constraints. The SCMH Board of Trustees will be employing a three step qualifications-based selection processto select Construction Managers for this project. Phase I includes soliciting qualifications from qualified Construction Managers for the SCMH Board of Trustees to review the submitted qualifications and determine a short list of candidates to proceed to Phase II. Estimated range $40m to $43m Requests for information about the processand/or the project for Phase I shall be made no later than Friday, July 12, 2024. An announcement of the short list of CM firms to be interviewed will be issued on Friday, July 18, 2024. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
