The Project consists of the roadway reconstruction of Fillmore Road from the GM Entrance (approximately 900 feet west of Spruce Road) including shoulders, culverts, ditches, striping, signage, restoration, in accordance with the plans and specifications. Estimated Project Length = approximately 0.38 miles. SAID bids must be accompanied with a Certified Check made payable to St. Joseph County or Bid Bond executed by the bidder and surety company in a sum of not less than ten percent [10%] of the total amount of the bid, together with a non-collusive affidavit as prescribed in Form 96, Revised 2013. The bidder awarded the contract will be required to furnish separate Payment, Performance, and Maintenance Bonds before commencing work. The Payment and Performance Bond shall each remain in effect throughout the entire construction period in an amount equal to the awarded Contract Amount. The required Maintenance Bond shall remain in effect for a period of up to five years from the date of final acceptance in an amount of 10 percent [10%] of the awarded Contract Amount. SR 2 Rehabilitation Project Additional project information and contact information will be provided via addendum Question Deadline 07/09/2024 at 12:00 PM ET PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Project entails the reconstruction of Fillmore Road from approximately 1,900 feet west of Larrison Blvd. to Larrison Blvd. The work shall include the reconstruction and widening of Fillmore Road from two lanes to four lanes, with an auxiliary lane. The proposed roadway will be constructed utilizing PCCP. Additional improvements will include reconstruction of existing driveway and public road approaches. Temporary HMA pavement will be utilized to transition to the existing Fillmore Road and Larrison Blvd. Additional work includes construction of storm sewer, ditches, temporary retention basins, pavement markings, and maintaining traffic.
