Each bid must be accompanied by (a) a. cashier's check, certified check or bid bond payable to the County of Hudson in the sum equal to 5% five percent of the bid; (b) a certificate from a surety company authorized to do business in New J-easy, rated A or better by A.M. Best, that such company will provide the bidder with a Performance Bond or Bonds called for in the specifications; (c) a statement of ownership disclosure form; (d) a list of subcontractors; and, (e) bid forms with an acknowledgement of receipt of Addenda. The Scope of Work is to provide modifications to the existing correctional facility, providing a new facility operations area and new property room. Construct a new intake/discharge area to service the needs of approximately 1800 inmates, including a new vehicle sallyport, renovate the existing lobby area and construct a new visitation area. These spaces include visitor waiting, inmate waiting, contact and non-contact visitation, attorney/inmate interview rooms and video courtrooms. The A medical waiting area to accommodate 50 inmates will be constructed adjacent to the medical infirmary.
