Reference Number 0000272698 Defence Construction Canada - Request for Proposals (RFP) for design, construction and commission of the new Transition Centre at Canadian Forces Bace (CFB) Borden, ON, C001689, CN 82687 DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) is requesting Proposals from Design-Build Teams to design, construct, and commission the Transition Centre at CFB Borden following a modified design-build approach. The Scope of the Construct Transition Centre Borden project includes the following: 1.4.4.1 Full design of approximately 1,293m2 gross space new TC facility at CFB Borden and all associated works to the end of construction documents which must be a complete biddable package. 1.4.4.2 the development of an exterior area of approximately 1,320 m2 to accommodate 37 civilian vehicles and exterior storage for tools and equipment Design and construct 37 stall parking lot by the new building. 1.4.4.3 Design and certify to LEED Silver and CaGBC Zero Carbon Building - Design V3 standard. Project will eventually pursue CaGBC Zero Carbon Building - Performance certification after completion. 1.4.4.4 Implementation including construction, commissioning, and all CaGBC certifications of the facility.. Construction Start May 2025 Contract Completion December 2027 Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
