Site work and paving for a civil project in Copperas Cove, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

This project shall consist of the rehabilitation of South Drive with repair and removal of Culvert and the replacement of road base material and hot mix asphalt concrete (HMAC) for several other streets, as per the City of Copperas Cove's Infrastructure Design and Construction Manual (IDCM) and Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) standards. The work will include disposal of spoil materials and is expected to be complete in place. Any questions or requests for clarification must be submitted to online prior to 1:00 p.m., July 15, 2024. There will be no exceptions. All responses to the questions will be sent to all known bidders. Any requests received after this date and time will not be responded to. The City reserves the right to award the bid to either the lowest responsible bidder or to the bidder who provides goods or services at the best value for the City, in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code. Award will be made at a later date. Any Bid received after closing time will be returned unopened. The City of Copperas Cove reserves the right to reject any or all bids. BIDDER agrees that the Work covered by the Base Bid will be substantially completed within 120 calendar days after the date the Contract Time commences to run and finally completed within 150 days after commencement. Bidder accepts the provisions of the agreement as to liquidated damages in the event of failure to complete the Work on time.
