This project includes the removal of two raised medians at the intersection of SW Plass Avenue and SW Shunga Drive. Additionally, there is to be a Solar Light Assembly erected at the intersection of SW High Avenue & SW Wayne Avenue. This project consists of removal of two raised medians at the intersection of SW Plass Avenue and SW Shunga Drive. The medians are to be replaced with 2" asphalt on 7" reinforced concrete pavement on 6" aggregate base - Type AB3. Additionally, there is to be asolar light assembly attached to a direct-bury pole that is to be erected at the intersection of SW High Avenue and SW Wayne Avenue. CONTRACT TIME. Work will commence as soon as practical with the issuance of a Start Work Order. Substantial Completion of the Work will be within 20 days from the date the Start Work Order is issued. Final Completion will be 5 days after Substantial Completion. All traffic control devices shall be removed and the street shall be open to traffic by Substantial Completion. The 5 days afterwards shall provide time for a walk thru, punch list, and any clean-up items. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES. Owner and Contractor agree that as liquidated damages for delay (but not as penalty); The Contractor shall pay the value listed in Document 530 - Contract for each day past the scheduled date of completion.
