As of August 13th, 2024 - this project has currently been put on hold and is being re-evaluated. Project Location: Hwy 45 South, Corinth, MS. The project involves the renovation and construction of bathrooms at Biggersville High School, including the installation of new fixtures, water heaters, plumbing, and a new sidewalk. There is not a Pre-bid meeting that is required for this project. However, prospective bidders will be granted a meeting if requested. Pre-bid meeting requests should be forwarded to Jeff Boren, Director of Operations, at jboren@alcornschools.org. Bid proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope marked plainly on the outside of the envelope with the following: Biggersville High School Bathroom Renovation Project. Envelope shall be addressed to Brandon Quinn, Superintendent of Schools, 31 CR 401, Corinth, MS 38834. In addition, the envelope shall list the bidders Company name, Company address and all applicable state and local license and registration numbers of the bidder as the Owner assumes no responsibility for the premature opening of any bid envelope by any employee of the Owner. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the opening of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
