Site work for a water / sewer project in Springdale, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Interior Sanitary Sewer Line Rehabilitation Bidders are required to have an Arkansas Contractor's License when the cost of the work to be done by the Contractor including, but not limited to, labor and materials, is $20,000.00 or more, this is in accordance with Arkansas Code Annotated 17-22-101, et. seq.; The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12U.S.C. 1701u (section 3). Each bid submitted must contain the following items: (1) Bid form, signed by bidder; (2) Bid guarantee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid price, the bid guaranty can bein the form of a certified check or cashier's check made payable to the PHA, a U.S. Government bond endorsed to the PHA, or a bid bond executed by the bidder in accordance with HUD-5369,Clause 9; (3) Representations, Certifications and Other Statements of Bidders - Public and Indian Housing Program Form HUD5369-A; (4) A Non-Collusive Affidavit form which must be submitted if your bid is over $50,000.00; (5) Previous Participation Certification, Form HUD-2530, form which must be submitted if your bid is over $50,000.00. (6) Certification of Bidder Regarding Section 3 and Segregated Facilities. (7) Contractors Section 3 Plan Format (8) Certification of Prime Bidder Regarding Equal Employment Opportunity. (9) Certification of Prime Bidder Regarding Non-Segregated Facilities. (10) Contractor's Certification Concerning Labor Standards and Prevailing Wage Requirements. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish an Arkansas Performance and Payment Bond or Bonds on the form contained in the Contract Documents in the amount of 100% of the full amount of the bid. This is in accordance with Arkansas Code Annotated 19-11-405. Non resident contractors shall be required to comply with the requirements of Act 489 of 1989, pertaining to Contractors Bonds. The PHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, separately or in their entirety; to accept or reject any Bid by line item; to waive any informalities in the bidding; to consider and award Bids in a manner that will be in the best interest and most advantageous to the PHA, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder or bidders, as appropriate, whose bid or bids, as appropriate, conforms or conform, as appropriate, with all the material terms and conditions of the Invitation for Bids. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the PHA. . Contractor shall mechanically clean the existing sewer drain lines from the plumbing fixtures to the exterior two-way cleanout. The mechanical cleaning shall remove all sludge, soft scale, hard scale and nodules from the interior of the pipe. The Contractor will not be required to perform work that is not within the general character and scope of the Drawings and . The contractor shall use closed caption televising (CCTV) to determine the connections of all branch lines serving the plumbing fixtures. . The existing interior sewer drain line shall include all 2", 3", 4" and 6" pipe beginning at the cleanout on the exterior of the building, into the building under the building slab. . The existing sewer line locations and sizes were taken from the original construction plans provided to our office by the Springdale Housing Authority. Contractor shall verify the location of the sewer lines with the CCTV system. . Contractor shall install a Cured-In-Place-Pipe (C.I.P.P.)to rehabilitate the existing building drains. The C.I.P.P. shall be installed in all mains under the slab to the exterior two-way cleanout. This C.I.P.P. shall be installed in all branch lines serving all plumbing equipment inside the unit. The C.I.P.P. shall be the Nu Flow Nu Drain C.I.P.P. system (NO EQUAL). Contractor shall connect all branch lines serving plumbing fixture for proper operation of the existing plumbing fixture. Contractor shall run CCTV after lining operation is complete to observe the lining system is properly installed and all branch lines connections serving plumbing fixtures are made.
