Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,703-square-foot, one-story above grade service station / car wash facility; for site work for a service station / car wash facility; pre-engineered storage facility; pre-engineered storage facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of a pre-engineered metal building containing one automatic vehicle wash bay, one exterior manual wash bay, and associated concrete paving areas. The automatic and manual wash equipment are not included in this contract. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. Bids will be based on a single lump sum and will incorporate all required work. All Bidders must be licensed in the State of Arkansas under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Project consists of new construction of an enclosed wash bay, equipment room, and an exterior wash bay, and associated site utility improvements. The wash bay equipment will be contracted for separately by the Owner and is not included in this contract.
