Site work for a road / highway in Barrie, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of Timmis is seeking proposals from qualified contractors and or engineering firms for a design build for the City of Timmins Welcome Signs with experience in tourism and community signage projects, entrance signage design, large scale signage projects, signage installation, and material fabrication. The selected proponent will review the current entrance signs and propose a method of stripping the current signs, wrapping the signs and proposing lighting upgrades to the signs. These proposals can be of the nature to restore the current design or propose a new design. Only qualified and experienced proponents will be considered for this project. These signs are currently installed, but require restoration work. Currently, there are two Welcome to Timmins signs at the West End on Riverside Drive near Kamiscotia Road on the South side of the highway and on the East End on Highway 101 East near the Kidd Met Site on the North side of the highway. Additionally, the City of Timmins is seeking the design build of a new Welcome to Timmins sign on Highway 655 to match the design of the other two previously mentioned signs.
