Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Whitehall, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project involves sanitary sewer excavation repairs including, but not limited to, any combination of the following items: wye branch and lateral repairs, installation of sanitary manholes, replacement of sanitary manhole inverts, pre-CCTV verification, NASSCO certified MH to MH post repair CCTV, and location and adjustment of buried sanitary sewer manholes. All related traffic control, resident notification, and restoration of disturbed areas including driveways, sidewalks, roadways, curbs, walls, lawn areas, shrubbery, etc. An additional ten dollars ($10.00) will be required for each set of plans if they are to be mailed. Electronic copies will be available at no charge upon request. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be fled with the executed Agreement Bids shall only be received by bidders that are prequalified by the Borough of Whitehall. Bidders that are not prequalified to date in the Borough of Whitehall should contact the Borough Manager for the requirements. All Borough of Whitehall pre qualified materials must be in the hands of Courtney Wertz, Borough Manager, Borough of Whitehall, 100 Borough Park Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236, (412) 884-0505, by July 11, 2024. All bidders that submit pre qualified packages to the Borough for review will be alerted of their status by July 18, 2024. Bids will only be accepted from bidders that are prequalified in the Borough of Whitehall. Proposals shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked on the outside with the words 2024 WHITEHALL BOROUGH SEWER EXCAVATION REPAIR CONTRACT. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidders Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of Borough of Whitehall in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within fifteen (15) days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein. The Bidder is advised that the Borough will award the contract to the lowest responsible pre-qualified bidder based on the total bid submitted. However, the bidder is advised that the Borough expressly reserves the right to reject all bids, and specifically reserves the right to award to the lowest responsible pre-qualified bidder a contract for all or any portions of the work listed in the proposal, and in awarding a contract for less than the total work listed, or less than all portions of the work listed, the contract price will be determined from the total quantities for each item listed and the unit price bid for each item listed.
