Renovation of a water / sewer project in Concord, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Pump station upgrades, including replacement of existing pump station with a new submersible type pump station, including reuse of the existing wet well, partial demolition of existing dry well, installation of new valve pit, new yard piping to connect to the existing force main, and assorted demolition and replacement of electrical and instrumentation equipment No Bidder may withdraw a Bid within 60 days after the actual date of opening thereof Liquidated damages will be in the amount of $1,000 for each calendar day of delay. for each calendar day of delay from the date established for substantial completion, and $1,000 for each calendar day of of delay from the date established for final completion. Each General Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Total Bid Price. The successful Bidder must furnish within 10 calendar days after the Notice of Award the required number of copies of the Signed Agreement, 100% Performance and Payment Bonds, and begin execution of this contract within 10 calendar days following the Notice to Proceed. Completion time for the project will be calculated as calendar days from the date specified in the "Notice to Proceed" as follows: 210 calendar days for substantial completion 240 calendar days for final completion. The City of Concord reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any Bid that it may deem to be in the best interests of the City.
