Renovation of a mixed-use development in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation. This RFQ is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). All respondents must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Interested SDVOSBs must be listed and certified at SBA Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ to receive contract awards. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 16, is soliciting offers for Overton Brooks Elevator #6 Repair. The repair of Facility elevator #6 at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVMC) 510 E. Stoner Avenue Building 1, Shreveport, LA, 71101 will be in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Offeror shall submit technical questions to the Government in writing via email only and No Later Than Tuesday 1:00 P.M. Central Daylight Time (CDT), 07/09/2024. Please annotate subject line of e-mail with Technical Questions 36C25624Q1095 Overton Brooks Elevator #6 Repair and send to T Miller, Contract Specialist, at t.miller@va.gov. Please include in your questions in the section of the solicitation/page number that your question is referencing. Offeror shall submit offers directly via email to T Miller, Contract Specialist, at t.miller@va.gov. Subject line of e-mail shall be 36C25624Q1095 Overton Brooks Elevator #6 Repair by Friday 1:00 PM on 07/12/2024. Contract Period: Base POP Begin: 07-22-2024 POP End: 08-02-2024 Scope of Work: 2.1 Provide all labor and materials to pull the comp sheaves on elevator #6, replace the existing bearings with new bearings and then reinstall. 2.2 Provide labor and materials to replace the comp cables and shackles with new comp cables and shackles on refenced elevator. 2.3 Once work is complete, safety testing will be conducted in accordance with local codes and the elevator returned to service.
