Water Plant Solar Project Sealed proposals will be accepted for the installation of a solar photovoltaic (PV) array for a property currently operated as the Maquoketa Water Plant located at on Old Highway 61, Maquoketa, Iowa. City of Maquoketa reserves the right to reject all bids, to waive technicalities or irregularities, abandon the RFP process and to enter into a contract with a vendor if it is deemed to be in the best interest of Maquoketa. Engineer, design and install a roof and/or ground mounted PV solar array based on the criteria listed below including, but not limited to, the following equipment and services: PV modules, inverters, racking, electrical components, fencing, permitting, interconnection, commissioning, monitoring equipment and any necessary site work and any other items necessary to make the array operational. City of Maquoketa is requesting proposals for a turn-key PV roof and/or ground mounted solar array: 57 kW (DC) roof and/or ground mounted solar array for the Maquoketa Water Plant. Installation shall begin as soon as possible after August 19, 2024 and shall be completed no later than December 30, 2024. December 30, 2024 is a hard completion deadline.
