This Project includes all work necessary to install 696 feet of 1.5 inch diameter polyethylene pipe, one simplex grinder pump, one duplex grinder pump, underground electric, electrical service and pump control panels as shown on Construction Drawings. The Ohio County PSD reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Ohio County PSDalso reserves the right to defer, delay or postpone the date for receiving and opening Bids. The OhoCounty PSD reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest responsible Bidder if it is deemed tobe in the best interest of the Project. The Ohio County PSD further reserves the right to waive any informality in a Bid or reject such an informal Bid if it is to their advantage to do so A satisfactory BID BOND executed by the BIDDER or an acceptable surety in an amount equal to 5%of the BID shall be submitted with each BID. The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish and payfor a satisfactory PERFORMANCE and PAYMENT BOND. A PERFORMANCE BOND and a PAYMENT BOND, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, with a Corporate Surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the Contract. BIDDER hereby agrees to commence work under this CONTRACT on or before a date(s) specifiedinthe NOTICE TO PROCEED, and SUBSTANTIALLY COMPLETE within 90 consecutive calendardays. BIDDER further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $ 1,000.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as provided in Section 15 of the GENERAL CONDITIONS.
