The City of Santa Monica, (referred to hereafter as "the City") is inviting bid proposals from qualified persons or firms interested in furnishing, installing, repairing, and replacing Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras for an initial term of three years with two options for renewal of one year each, to be exercised at the City's sole discretion. Any contractual services agreement issued as a result of this Notice Inviting Bids may be subject to the City's Living Wage Ordinance, Santa Monica Municipal Code Chapter 4.65 (LWO), and its implementing regulations. In the event the contractual services agreement issued as a result of this Notice Inviting Bids and is subject to the LWO, the Contractor shall pay its employees the Minimum Wage, as that term is defined by the City's LWO. Provide All cameras, unless designated by the City, will be Axis brand cameras or an acceptable alternative as agreed upon by the City. All cameras, unless designated by the City, must be capable of connecting to the City's wired networks, power infrastructure, and comply with any mounting guidelines required by the city such as on or near designated landmarks. All cameras, unless designated by the City, must be compatible with Genetec Security Center and provide any required features determined at the time of ordering such as motion alerts, alarms, Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR), or Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ). The Vendor must provide for the installation, setup, aiming, configuration, and maintenance of the cameras through the contract period to include the (2) one-year extensions, if granted. The Vendor is responsible for all installation work to be clean in appearance and consistent with best practices, industry standards, and other camera installations. Warranty coverage must include the on-site repair and/or replacement of any included camera that is not functioning as intended. The Vendor will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and replacement of all City cameras on the network in a timely manner to minimize time being offline. Vendor must include the scheduled cleaning of all public-facing 'security cameras' twice a year, all other cameras annually, and an option for a City department to pay for additional cleaning or maintenance on an as-needed basis. Bidder agrees that the City has the right to make all final determinations as to whether the work contemplated under this Notice Inviting Bids has been satisfactorily completed. Goods or services are paid within thirty (30) days of delivery and receipt of an appropriate invoice. Bidders must possess the following California contractor's license at the time the bid is submitted or be otherwise deemed qualified to perform the work specified: Bids submitted using the license name and number of a subcontractor or other person who is not a principal partner or owner of the company making this bid, will be rejected as being non-responsive.
