he City of Roseville's ("City") Technical Services Division of the Environmental Utilities Department (EU) is requesting proposals for on-call construction paving services. The Technical Services Division provides staffing to support various utility projects. This RFP is seeking construction paving services for projects within the Department. These projects will be classified as "on-call" and may be located within a secure facility(ies) or in the public right of way, and could range from maintenance projects to unanticipated repair and/or rehabilitation projects for water, wastewater and recycled water facilities and infrastructure. The City reserves the right to renew the contract for two (2) additional years (coinciding with the Citys fiscal year; July 1st to June 30th), one year at a time, at its sole discretion. Contractor Interviews as needed August 12 thru 16, 2024 Contract Negotiations August 2024 Contract Approval by City Council September 18, 2024 Commencement of Services September 18, 2024 EU is seeking proposals from qualified Paving Construction Service Providers to furnish construction services for projects with the EU. Contractor(s) are not required to propose on construction services listed for all utilities (bullets a thru e). See "Guidelines and Requirements" below. The selected contractor(s) will be placed on a list of "Qualified Contractors". The Contractor(s) on the "Qualified List" shall provide all the materials/parts, labor, equipment, obtain all required permits, and follow City and governing agency standards and requirements to provide services, including, but not limited to the following: a. Perform new paving or patch/repair and/or rehabilitation paving work for facilities located within the Recycled Water Distribution System. Exact facilities/locations will be determined for individual task(s) and limited design components may be required as part of the work. b. Perform new or patch/repair/rehabilitation paving work as identified by EU staff for facilities located within the Potable Water Distribution System including but not limited to work at the following sites: potable water wells, water storage tanks, booster pumping stations, pressure reducing stations and other ancillary facilities. Exact facilities/locations will be determined for individual task(s) and limited design components may be required as part of the work. c. Perform new or patch/repair/rehabilitation paving work as identified by EU staff at the Barton Road Water Treatment Plant (BRWTP). Exact locations will be determined for individual task(s) and limited design components may be required as part of the work. d. Perform new or patch/repair/rehabilitation paving work as identified by EU staff at either the Dry Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (DCWWTP) or the Pleasant Grove Wastewater Treatment Plant (PGWWTP). Exact locations will be determined for individual task(s) and limited design components may be required as part of the work. e. Perform new or patch/repair/rehabilitation paving work as identified by EU staff for facilities located within the Wastewater Collection System including but not limited to work at the following sites: lift/pumping stations and other ancillary facilities.
