As of August 15, 2024, the project has been placed on hold. A timeline for construction is not yet available. Senior Resiliency Center - Work of this project includes the preparation of existing site for new Senior Resiliency Center and associated parking. This new building will include gathering space, an office for staff, public restrooms, a catering kitchen, meeting rooms, and storage spaces. A certified check or bank draft payable to Village of Timbercreek Canyon, Texas or negotiable U.S Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant CARES Act (CDBG-CV) program project number #70800001012 and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin. Adherence to the grant recipient's Section 3 Policy is required for all contracts and subcontracts. The Village of Timbercreek Canyon, Texas reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Village of Timbercreek Canyon, Texas for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project.
