Renovation of a municipal facility in Louisville, Kentucky. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government ("Metro Government") is now accepting Bids for a Modular water-cooled chiller at the Nia Center located at 2900 W. Broadway. Questions Due Date: Jul 15th 2024, 3:00 PM EDT Any inquiries about this Bid shall be addressed in writing on the online portal. All work is to be completed by February 1, 2025. • Lock out/tag out 50 hp open drive compressor and the 50-ton multi stack condenser. • Recover refrigerant, demo compressor, condenser barrel, multi stack condenser and refrigerant lines. • Remove air handler TXVs, driers, and evaporator coil. • Install (2) new multi stack water cooled condensing units (100 nominal tons) • Install new evaporator coil into the existing air handler. • Install new refrigerant lines from multi stack condensers to the new evaporator. • Install new TXVs, driers, valves, refrigeration devices. • Pressure test, pull vacuum and finalize charge. • Reconnect existing electrical and control wiring to the new condensers. • Install dual (redundant) condenser pump skid with VFD control panel for auto run and hand start modes. • Perform startup and confirm correct operation of the system. • 15% for certified minority owned businesses • 5% for certified female owned businesses; and • 0.5% for certified handicapped owned businesses. Bid has been put on hold as we are looking into long-term future plans with NIA Center
