Site work for a development in Chehalis, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a development.

Engineers Estimate $35,854 MAJOR BID ITEMS will include: Mobilization - LS, Access Improvement - LS, Excavation (Pond) - 340 CY, Plug Tile Inlet - LS, Excavation (Swale)- 25 CY, Excavation (Hardened Crossing) - 10 CY, Haul and Disposal of Excavation Spoils, Off-Site - 488 CY, Geotextile for Soil Separation - 55 SY, Gravel Surfacing - 12 CY, Habitat Logs - 7 Each, Slash Piles - 4 Each, Livestock Exclusion Fencing - 700 LF, Seed and Mulch - 0.33 AC, Project Cleanup - LS, Minor Change - $1000 T&M, and other items in conformance with the 2024 WSDOT Standard Specifications incl. the APWA Supplement, and the Special Provisions for this project. This project is funded by a grant from the Voluntary Stewardship Program, which is administered by The Washington State Conservation Commission. Washington State prevailing wage provisions apply to this project and the contractor will be required to file a Statement of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages to Department of Labor and Industries, as well as Affidavit of Wages Paid. The District will not make final payment until they receive evidence that the Affidavit form has been certified by L&I. ALL BID PROPOSALS must be in writing, on forms furnished from the Lewis Conservation District, placed and sealed in an envelope, with an indication on the front bottom left corner of said envelope, the project name, name of bidder, and date and time of opening, and then delivered to Lewis Conservation District on or before the day and hour of the above-mentioned bid opening. ALL BID PROPOSALS shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a Surety Bond, Cash, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. The Proposal Bond can be on DOT Form 272-001 revised 08/2001 for Local Agency Use. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Lewis Conservation District Lewis Conservation District reserves the right to accept or reject bids on each item separately or as a whole, to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to contract as to the best interest of the Lewis Conservation District.
