If a certified cheque is provided, the tender deposit of the successful bidder shall be retained by the Owner as a Contract Bond for the faithful performance of the contract. Alternatively, if a Bid Bond is provided, the successful bidder will be required to provide an Executed Agreement to Bond to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labour and Materials Payment Bond for the total value of the contract. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Construction is anticipated to commence following July 17, 2024 and be totally complete by November 30, 2025. However, no tree or brush disturbance or clearing is permitted between March 15 and August 31 (inclusive) of any year, no in-water work is permitted between March 15 and July 15 (inclusive) of any year and drain construction work shall not commence until after the existing hydro lines (3) have been relocated by others and the Engineer has provided notice that the relocation is complete.
